A newly refurbished stand alone house in a quiet suburb, just 10 minutes to the city (driving), 5 minutes to New Brighton and really close to supermarket etc.

The room is nice and sunny, new carpet/paint and large built in wardrobe with top storage. The room fits a double/queen bed as well as a set of drawers/desk, and can come furnished or unfurnished (I have a bed & drawers).

The full furnished house has open plan living/dining/kitchen with heat pump & dishwasher and a brand new bathroom, with separate toilet and laundry. There is a place to park a small car in the garage otherwise plenty of free street parking. Nice sunny outside space too.

Bills are not included in the rent price but will be around $25 a week (power/internet)

Open to short term & am negotiable for FIFO, people who travel a lot for work and pet/house sitters looking for a homebase.

You’d be sharing the house with just me! I’m 43yr female & recently bought this house as my first home.

Prior to this I’ve travelled a lot, lived overseas,house/pet sat and lived in shared houses so understand the dynamics of having a house mate.

I have my own business and work from home. Ideally I’d like to live with someone who does not work from home.

While I’m a social person and don’t mind a weekend wine, I do like to live in a quiet home, so no visitors/parties. Also no smokers/vapers please.

Suitable for singles only, not couples.

Open to renting the room for 6 months or more, perfect for those visiting NZ on WH visas and also happy to discuss renting to FIFO, People who travel a lot for work or pet/house sitters that need a homebase between jobs.
