About the room

This 10 Bedroom Villa is called Kia Mia International Christian University Hostel for International University students. It has been so for the last 30 or so years.

We have single rooms and shared single rooms. All rooms are fully furnished with a bed, desk and chair, wardrobe, shelves, and lamp.

During the Summer period (19th Jan-15th Feb 2026) rent covers the fully furnished rooms, plus internet and power. Summer rent is $230.

During the University year (16th Feb-16th November 2026) rent covers the fully furnished rooms, internet, power and food (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Rent in the university period is $395 (includes everything).

Bond : (will be paid back if rooms are not damaged) Summer: $200 University year: $400

This is a communal type of living. We welcome all International Undergrad, Masters and Phd students.

About the roomies

Currently the house is managed by a couple, and a worker who live onsite along side three international. students. Over the last 30 years Kia Maia has been home to many nations.
