About the room

I’m hoping to sublet the 4.4m x 4.9m master bedroom: comes with ensuite with bath, shower, etc and a walk-in wardrobe. The room has its own heat pump, Gets all-day sun, is very warm, and is double glazed.

The property is well situated for the local shops in stoke and for Nelson city proper.

The property has 2 full bathrooms; the aforementioned ensuite, a shower and toilet downstairs that I use, and a third toilet in the upstairs hallway situated between the two bedrooms.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, induction stovetop, microwave, etc, and plenty of storage space for your own dishes if you don’t wish to use mine.
I also own a large dining room table as well as a piano situated in the dining room/kitchen.

I have a clothes washer and a drier, and there is also a decently sized clothesline in the courtyard. There is a 2-car garage and the driveway can also be used as parking if preferred. I currently don’t own a car, so the garage is currently vacant apart from my workbench/tools.

There is a large living room downstairs which is currently unfurnished aside for a TV which you are welcome to use; I have a couch that is currently not being used that I can move into it if you wish. There’s also a smaller spare bedroom downstairs with its own single bed.

I will be taking care of mowing the lawns/weeding, so you won’t have to worry about that, but you are welcome to plant things in the flower-bed if you like.

I have 2 cats, so unfortunately I can’t accept more pets on the property. I also can’t accept smokers.

Bills will be paid separately from rent: internet is unlimited fibre broadband which is $8 per week, and there is also RedBin trash pickup every week that is billed every 3 months, also $8 per week. Power costs are difficult to estimate in advance for multiple people because of varying usage, so I hesitate to give a concrete value in advance, but please feel free to ask me for more details.

About the roomies

I’m a 33 year old male non-smoker with 2 cats. I work from home, keep to myself and am generally pretty quiet. I’m happy for you to use the shared spaces to socialise as long as you keep the noise level at a respectful level for the sake of the neighbours, and I’m generally pretty chill as long as you aren’t damaging the property and you aren’t leaving messes in the common areas for me to clean up.
