The house is recently renovated, with a peaceful garden setting and a sunny open plan living room/kitchen with views out to a gorgeous private green and outdoor area – perfect for relaxing with a coffee or glass of wine. The kitchen and laundry are compact but well-equipped for anyone who enjoys cooking, and the bathroom is stylishly renovated. The available bedroom is a good-sized, light-filled double that is furnished with lovely bed linen, wardrobe and small table for a laptop. If you’re after a central home with character, tranquillity, and plenty of natural beauty, this could be the perfect spot. Looking For: A friendly, considerate, and like-minded flatmate who will enjoy the peaceful surroundings, art and treats the house as a home. Prefer a working professional or travellers are welcome - can be a short or long term rental. You’ll also have the company of ‘Toby’ a very friendly spoodle dog, who is full of personality and loves cuddles! Location: The house is situated 5mins walk to local supermarkets and Westfield Shopping Mall. With a bus stop right outside and 10 minute walk to the train station. On the fringe of Kingsland and close to Mt Albert offering great views across Auckland and weekend walks, it makes the location one of the most sought after neighbourhoods in Auckland. There are lovely bars and stylish cafes in Kingsland village just 15 minute’s walk up the road. I love Crave Café in Morningside just a 10mins walk from the house. Morningside Precinct also has a range of co eating and dining options. Rent includes, Wifi, power & water.

I’m a fabulous fifty-something female – I work in education in the city. I love to cook, collect art and enjoy a wine and good conversation. I have a busy work life but also enjoy relaxing at home with Netflix or a shared meal. I own the house, so keep it is well maintained and love gardening. I work from home 2 days per week, and have a small dog ‘Toby’ who is very friendly, loves balls and walking. He is very happy when collected for doggie day care 2 days per week! I enjoy running in the mornings before work and spending relaxing times with a wine after a full day of gardening in the weekends.
