I’m a friendly and respectful final-year student from Hong Kong, majoring in Art Education. I’m coming to Lower Hutt for an 8-week internship at MIX (a community art centre focused on mental health and creative wellbeing) from 8 June to 31 July 2026. I’m a clean and tidy person who enjoys keeping shared spaces organised. I’m quiet and considerate, especially in the evenings as I’ll be reflecting on my internship work and preparing art workshop plans. During the day, I’m positive and easy-going — I love chatting over a cup of tea and sharing stories about different cultures. I’m also independent and responsible, so you won’t need to worry about me. I respect house rules, privacy, and other people’s routines. I don’t party or make loud noise at home, but I’m happy to join in for occasional meals or light conversations if everyone is comfortable. As an art student, I’m creative and would be glad to share simple art activities or chat about culture if you’re interested. I’m really looking forward to experiencing Kiwi home life, learning about New Zealand culture, and being a considerate housemate/roomie during my short stay. I believe I’ll be a calm, reliable, and pleasant person to live with!
