Emma's room

Located in The Brook Nelson, we are surrounded by trees, birds, and running/cycle trails; we adore the quietness of the neighbourhood and the sound of the nearby river too. We are just over a 5 minute drive from Nelson CBD, or a 12minute cycle (depending on how fast you are!). A 2 storey home perched up on the side of the hill making it a perfect spot to enjoy a summery afternoon wine on the balcony (or in the hammock). The house has 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. We have a large garage which can be used for storage too. We have two rooms available for short term stays.

The room is available until the 20th November ($250). Large upstairs bedroom with its own private entry/exit. Located at the back of the house, this room is shady, but private. You will be sharing the upstairs bathroom, which is located next door. The room is (furnished with a king bed, bedside, small mirror, clothes rack and drawers). The price is inclusive of the room, power, gas, wifi, red and yellow bins, basic cleaning products and water. (doesn’t include your personal items, or food).

This timeframe would suit people who are travelling through Nelson and would like somewhere to base themselves for a while and the length of stay can’t be lengthened. Respectful, friendly, independent and considerable people are more than welcome to get in touch if feel like you might be a good fit or if you have any questions.

My partner Sarah and I (Emma) own our home and share it with 1 other flatmate. Sarah and I enjoy going for walks, camping, heading out for dinner/drinks and playing sport. Our home is a place to relax and rest in - while we love to have wine or a beersie, we aren’t a party house and tend to keep our socialising outside of the home.
