Our large beautiful home is in a popular central Auckland suburb near the beach. Our location is very convenient by bus to most parts of Auckland.
Our price include utilities (water / power / gas / unlimited internet / insurance) and some household basics (laundry powder / toilet paper /hand wash / dishwashing products / cleaning products/ Housecleaning services) .. you clean up after yourself such as your own dishes and kitchen area after use, clothes and bedroom.
This room is a king single room with side table, single wardrobe, clothes rack, smart tv and desk if required.
Note this is a homestay versus a flat share. If you are wanting to stay for less than 8 weeks we just need a fixed date of departure upfront.
We are a couple of fun easy going 40 year olds with two little girls aged 3 and 6. We are quiet during the week focusing on work, children and home-life but like to unwind on the weekend. We are generous and helpful people who go above and beyond to help our guests.
We have separate living quarters upstairs (except kitchen) and often keep to ourselves from 5:30pm, after our children are fed and are often busy or out and about during the day in the weekends. Occasionally we hold get togethers with all our guests at home to celebrate birthdays, arrivals or departures or all go have a drink at the local pub together.
As we have four rooms for guests there is always another homestay with us sometimes 4 of you and our guests often become friendly and socialise with each other.
There is a large bathroom downstairs inside that you would share with other homestay guests. We have our own upstairs.
