About the room Wonderful old Victorian villa…rustic charm. Single room available, furnished. Bedding included. A lovely warm environment. Two rooms available, one for $380 and one for $330. The house seems to have a spirit of its own and the roomies here respect the space and the folks who live and visit here. Easy to get to buses…at Three Lamps and Jervois Road in Ponsonby or along Richmond Road in Grey Lynn. Behind our house is an open playing field - great for work outs. By the way, we can rent rooms hostel-like for 3 nights’ minimum stay.
About the roomies At the moment the household includes the two of us retired teachers, originally from America, an English guy and a Chilean guy. Our extended family come to visit sometimes - from Raglan and Wellington and from overseas; can you guess which one is the surfer? If you are vaccinated and you are a non-smoker, get back to us on the cool Roomies website and we can set up a time to meet. The room would especially suit a student or a traveller on a working holiday visa.
