Technically the location is Casebrook but proximity makes it closer to Papanui and Bishopdale.

Room available in a warm, modern 3 bedroom home. $220 per week excl. expenses. living with myself and a female renting another room.

Communal areas are fully furnished and for the current tenant I furnished the room with a Queen Bed. The room has a large wardrobe in it but I also have a chest of drawers and bedside cabinet available if needed. Also open to renting the room unfurnished.

• 4 minutes drive to Bishopdale Shopping Centre
• 4 minutes drive to Northlands Mall in Papanui (no. 27 bus route just round the corner that goes past the mall as well.
• 11 minutes drive to University of Canterbury.

The bedroom available has a built in large wardrobe

Outdoor area is fully fenced and I maintain the lawns and garden (However I wouldn’t say no to any offers of help). I had a few veges in the garden over summer but probably won’t plant any more again till summer.

Bathroom has a shower, bath and toilet with an additional separate toilet. The bathroom door to adjoining bedroom is blocked off.

3 weeks bond and 1 weeks rent in advance.

Power, Internet and Shared Cleaning expenses additional.

Some space in garage for storage (I am in the process of sorting though so it is a little messy currently). Parking is on the driveway or on the street.

Washing Machine and Dryer in the garage. Fridge Freezer in the kitchen and additional fridge freezer space in the garage. Modern dish washer drawers in kitchen and good water pressure.

No pets and no smokers.

House is also fitted with an alarm system.

Brother of the current tenant is looking to move back to the area with his family so wants her to move in with them to split costs.

30 year old male (owner), UC graduate now working in a public service role and the occasional hospitality shift. Enjoy volunteering for charity when I have the time.

Other flatmate is a female in her late 20s working as a nurse in Merivale.

Have been living with female flatmates in their 20s both here and at previous property. But open to considering male or female for the empty room.
