​We’ve got a fully furnished room going in our Kingsland flat (Sandringham Road) and we’re looking for a new flatmate to join us. (If you already have furniture, we can take the current ones then the rent will drop to $240)

​About the flat: You’ll be sharing with three of us (one girl, two guys in our late 20s to mid-30s). We’ve all been calling Aotearoa home for a few years now. The flat is a spacious, stand-alone house featuring many flowers(probably more than we need), a cozy sunroom and a massive, sun-drenched garden. The garden is an absolute dream for summer BBQs, evening drinks, or just chilling out with a book. ​The room itself comes sorted with a comfy queen-size bed, a clothing rack, and drawers—ready for you to just move in and make it your own.

​The Vibe: We’re a social, easygoing household. We love sharing good kai and cooking together when we can, but we also totally respect each other’s downtime. We’re looking for someone who brings a positive energy, enjoys a good yarn over dinner, and appreciates keeping the space clean and tidy for everyone.

​The Location: Honestly unbeatable. We’re a one-minute stroll to the Kingsland train station and two minutes from all the local cafes, bars, and restaurants. We’re also right across the road from Eden Park.

​The Details: ​Rent: $260 per week (this includes all bills/expenses!) ​Bond: $1000 ​Move-in date: July 20th

Hello there!

This is Furky from Turkey. I work as an English teacher/video editor/dj.

I love meeting up with new people, experiencing different local cultures, travelling, giving presentations, being active politically in NGOs. I have given workshops, presentations on topics such as Public Relations, Filmmaking, Sustainability, Climate Change, Stop-motion Animation etc… I would like to continue my career as a trainer in such topics whilst meeting up w/ new people.
