Looking for a Flatmate Who Wants More Than Just a House

We are looking for a special kind of flatmate to join our home. This is not a place where everyone disappears into their rooms and lives separate lives. We are creating a home where people know each other, share life together, and genuinely care about one another. Our household includes both neurodiverse and neurotypical people. We are looking for someone who values inclusion, enjoys building meaningful relationships, and sees the strengths in people who experience the world differently. The right person will be naturally community-minded and enjoy spending time with their flatmates, whether that’s sharing meals, having conversations, watching a movie, attending community events, or simply checking in on each other’s day. One of your flatmates is a neurodiverse adult who values genuine friendship and connection. We’d love to find someone who is open to building a relationship with them, spending time together at home, and occasionally sharing activities or community experiences outside the house. This is not a support worker role. We’re simply looking for a kind-hearted person who believes that good flatmates can become friends, and that everyone deserves connection and belonging.

You’ll be renting a double bedroom upstairs with a large wardrobe and will share a bathroom with two other male flatmates. The house is conveniently located within easy walking distance of bus stops, supermarkets and local shops.

Room available:

• Double room: $180 per week + $40 utilities

The House:

• Fully insulated, double-glazed and fitted with central heating

• Two spacious living areas, each with a large TV

• Study and separate scullery off the kitchen

• Quality appliances, plus a second freezer in the garage

• Plenty of street parking available

Move in costs: 4 weeks rent and 2 weeks rent in advance.

References will be required.

The house is currently home to four employed men in their 20’s - 30’s. They are friendly and maintain a tidy home.
