Luka's room
About the room
The house is in Ngaio, on a quiet cul-de-sac with a park right out front. Five minute walk to the train station, ten minutes to the CBD by train or car. Walking distance to shops nearby. Good spot. I have a little dog, hypoallergenic, friendly and very cute :)
The garden is probably the main thing worth mentioning โ itโs big, with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. For Wellington, thatโs genuinely rare. Worth it in summer. Check the photos!
The room has good natural light, big windows and a large wardrobe. The room gets afternoon sun and it has space for a queen bed and bedside tables. The room comes unfurnished. The house has a nice TV with soundbar, streaming, a Nintendo Switch, an espresso machine, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Rubbish collection is included so no messing around with council bags. Plenty of on-street parking if you have a car.
About the roomies
Iโm Luka, 37, Brazilian, been in Wellington since 2015. I work in IT, mostly out of the house during the day, and out early mornings for the gym. When Iโm home Iโm usually listening to or messing around with music, watching something, or planning the next trip. Iโm looking for someone to share the house with. Just the two of us, which is the point.
Rent is $300/week. Power, internet and cleaning supplies split equally between us. Move in costs are one week rent + 4 weeks bond. Total is $1500. Room will be available on July 11th.
Iโd prefer someone 30+, LGBT+ friendly, who likes to hangout sometimes but also enjoy their own space. If you work from home full time or spend weekends on the couch, we probably wonโt click. I want someone with their own life going on, active, reasonably tidy, and easy to communicate with. Iโm not after a best friend or a flat party, just someone decent to share a home with. If that sounds like you, send me a message. Tell me a bit about yourself, what you do, what your days look like.
