Good morning, My name is Dylan McQuiston, and I’m a 29-year-old Pharmacist (with an additional BSc. and MSc. in Chemistry). After finishing my many years of study, I started work at Douglas Pharmaceuticals Ltd. up in Auckland, in their Novel Drug Development Department. It was a full-on position with long hours, tremendous responsibility, chemical hazards and superfluous red tape that needs to be adhered to, to meet the criteria for a drug to be sold in a particular country. I’ve decided to my make in my career path and have been accepted into the intensive Masters of Teaching and Learning degree through Waikato University (via correspondence). This starts January 4th 2021 and upon completion, will qualify me to teach at any year level. However, I intend to teach chemistry, calculus and the sciences at the secondary school level. I’ll have a total of 16 weeks of practicum work, working in schools. The remainder will be studying. I’m a friendly, humorous, witty, intelligent and fun-loving guy who is very clean and tidy. I enjoy my own space, but also enjoy having the odd drink with my mates or flatmates at the end of a hard day.
